Hande Hospital has been functioning at Shenoy Nagar, for over 25 years. It is a 50 bedded hospital with ICU facilities and three Operating Theatres. It was started by Dr. H.V.Hande, former Health Minister - Government of Tamilnadu who started his practice in this locality nearly 60 years ago. Hande Hospital is run by Dr. Krishna Hande MS FRCS MCh (Plastic) who is a General, Laparoscopic, Plastic and Cosmetic Surgeon.
He is ably assisted by his wife Dr. Indira Hande who is the Medical Superintendent of the Hospital. Hande Hospital is empanelled by various Insurance Companies. |

Hande Medical Centre, located in the Centre of the city, where Haddows Road joins Nungambakkam High Road, used to be the residence of Dr. H.V. Hande, Former Health Minister, Government of Tamilnadu. In January 2010 it was converted into a Multi Speciality Polyclinic (out patient Clinic) with various diagnostic facilities attached to it. A top class team of Consultants has joined Hande Medical Centre.
